Momslay flatlay | September

Jacket | Thermal Long Sleeve | Jeans | Boots | Sunglasses

I’ve decided to start sharing a roundup of my favourite what to wear #momslay mom items right now.  Because let’s be honest, I’d rather be in my comfiest clothes when I’m running errands with two toddlers and one decides to throw a tantrum in the middle of superstore.

You need stretchy jeans and memory foam shoes to handle that business!

Besides its always that one time you leave your pyjama bottoms on to drop the kids off at school when another mom comes over to the car to “chat” and uncovers your party on the top (aka. presentable clothes), comfy on the bottom (pajamas) look.  Not that it’s ever happened to me before……..ahem…….anyways…..

Let’s get into my top picks for September and what I’m wearing on repeat to get through the busy, busy, busy days.

These jeans are high waisted dark jeggings (can I get an amen for the most genius invention ever) and I love them because they were cheap but also because they hold in my mom ponch (don’t know what you call it but thats what I say) so I don’t have post partum muffin top every time I bend down to hand someone a goldfish cracker.

Also, as much as I love seeing pictures of the South and ladies still wearing their summer dresses and saying fall is so lovely when its 95 degrees? Ummm. I live in Canada. It was -2C when I woke up this morning and its currently 5C (40F).

So the next item is the comfiest softest thermal/fleece long sleeve that perfect for layering and seriously feels like pajamas! I love clothes that feel like they are loungewear but you can go out and actually look like you put a bit of thought into it.

I love these Steve Madden suede slip on boots because they are cute and so comfy I don’t even have to wear socks with them! Because if you know me, I’m not a fan of socks at all.

Plus, it takes me 20 minutes to get my kids shoes on. I don’t have time for fussy shoes. If it takes me longer than 10 second to get my shoes on,  in that time my kids have managed to take their shoes off and we have to start the process all over again! No fun for anybody!

I found these cheap but cute sunglasses that are perfect for when my kids get ahold of them. If they survive the trying on by toddlers they get an A in my book! And if they don’t, they were only $25. #ripsunglasses

**The toy blackberry is not there by error. I bought this toy at DollarTree for $1.25 and it is hands down one of my kids favourite toys. Go out and get it mamas its a lifesaver!

So that’s my current outfit on repeat! I would seriously buy and wear each of these items in every shade/colour. So comfy and versatile and mom friendly.

Have a great day! And don’t forget to #momslay  🙂
