Momslay Flatlay | November

Shirt | Vest | Pants | Booties

My November Momslay Flatlay is all about comfy trendy affordable basics that can be switched up with accessories depending on your own personal style.

Today I’m sharing my current favourite outfit on repeat. Super basic pieces that go together but will also go with several other items in your wardrobe. I have also added a fe w accessories to wear with them to give your own twist of style depending on your preferences.

It is important to me that these items are affordable,  accessible and comfortable. I don’t have time to fuss with uncomfortable pieces of clothing.

Breaking down the basics:

Striped Long Sleeve: A steal at only $14, this is a fantastic basic to have in your wardrobe. If you are chesty and concerned about horizontal stripes you can choose a shirt that is black with white stripes (or navy with white stripes) and always look for shirts with a scoop or vneck to balance the chest area.

Basic Black Jeans: I think black jeans/jeggings are necessary for every basic capsule wardrobe. I always make sure to have a pair and wear them 2nd to jeans. This pair is true to size, high waisted and has enough stretch to be super comfy! They are currently 40% off!

Vest: I’ve been a vest wearer for years. I love the option of an added layer for the times when the weather cant figure itself out. haha. And its a great option to build in trendy colours/patterns to your wardrobe. This vest is also on sale for $29.94!

Rubber Boots: I’ve often though with our weather here in Winnipeg that rubber boots aren’t necessary. But the fact is they are perfect for fall and spring weather. And even slushy snow weather. I like these short bootie types that are easy to slip on and off when I realize the kids ran out the door before me and I have to chase after them! Keeping it real over here. haha.
